Stand Up Paddle Enbata Challenge
The weekend took place the Enbata Challenge competition Stand up paddle, on the spot of the chamber of love in Anglet. A goal, find the discipline and challenge the wave in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Opportunity for Nico who was tried on the pleasure of the wave "SUP". At start, thirty participants including the presence of big names like Rico Leroy and school boards Enbata for everyone.
Programme: Relay race and waves contest.
And it is in the cool morning by 5 degrees (better to be in the water) that participants were able to learn before the start of the festivities. 10H, the "heat" are mixed and made it part of contest for 2h; 20minutes per pool for surfing the best three waves. Nico was able to face the biggest names in the discipline and good future "stand up paddle" budding. 13H end of qualifying, Nico finished 20th of the contest waves. This is the time of laying barbecue before attacking the relay race. Six mixed teams and go. More comfortable on race Nico finished 3rd with his team.
A good contest that allowed Nico to discover a new sport where the single paddle is a must ... And that was mainly a good taste of 'back on'...
